I like to do my own market research, which is one of the reasons I am in Hong Kong. My go to evening place here is Ned Kelly's Last Stand. Great jazz!!

Was there a year ago:

Great jazz. Hoppin'. Hard to get a seat. Waitresses happy. Crowd smiling.

Was there last night:

Great jazz. Not so hoppin'. Easier to get a seat. "Crowd" not so smiling. Waitress told me they are waiting to be laid off. Just one data point.

Hong Kong is still one of my favorite cities. Always will be. Go and hear the great jazz at Ned Kelly's. Fish and chips recommended.

Leave the band and the waitresses a big tip and let the music carry you back in time.
